Vermont Road, IpswichProject: Vermont Road, Ipswich Contractor: Oak House Management Architect: KLH Architects Ltd Project Outline: This project involved the construction of a contemporary extension to the rear of a substantial domestic property. The extension contains a large set of folding doors giving great access to the garden. In order to create an open plan kitchen/ dining room significant internal alterations were required, with internal walls and the existing external rear wall of the house being removed. Initial investigation works uncovered existing timber, concrete and steel beams all of which requiring assessment and incorporation within the new structure.
